"This is how grace works; it enters the soul, penetrates the heart, saturates the conscience, abides in the memory, affects the affections, gives understanding to the understanding, and imparts real life to the heart, which is the seat of life." Spurgeon

Vain Labor vs Fruitful Labor

Psalm 127
Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.

The construction team this week was voted the "best ever" by our executive director and founder Gary Schneider for completing an entire house in only 6 days. This home will now be filled within 30 days with a new loving house mama and 8 new orphans! These guys are absolute heroes.

This house is called Molly's House because Molly Mizerak, a longtime passionate supporter of EOH passed to Heaven suddenly due to brain cancer at a young age just this past May. In her honor, Molly's husband John and three children, and a number of close friends, raised the funds and joined together all week to celebrate Molly's amazing life paying for and building our 11th home (7th in Chongwe)!!

You can read about their tragic but God honoring story at mamamiz.com. We never got to meet Molly but from reading the blog you will see how much she is loved and missed. An incredible life well lived. John is directly under the sign that reads "Molly's House" with the red bandana around his neck. It has been an incredibly emotional week and a pleasure to share it with such an outstanding group of people.
